Caring for Baby Virtual
with Multiple Instructors
This class is taught by one of Elliot Hospital’s nurses and is designed to prepare expectant parents on how to care for and feed their newborn during the first six weeks of life. Topics covered include: normal newborn procedures and tests, infant bathing, diapering, skin care, dressing, proper car seat use, safe sleep, choosing a healthcare provider and symptoms to report.
This class will be run by a live instructor via Microsoft Teams. To get the most out of this session, we recommend you download the free Microsoft Teams app on your device so that you can easily use the chat feature to ask questions and engage with others. We would recommend using a computer or tablet (rather than a phone) to best be able to see the PowerPoint presentation, live instructor and chat feature all at the same time.
**Please note when registering: your sign-up includes attendance of a support person, do not register them as another student.**
